Spray Mosquito Bits to quickly kill the larval population; BTI coated marzorcas kernels, the Bits (won’t last long but) provide a punch that converts the black water with larvae to a clear pool free of future mosquitoes.
Mosquito Bits are rated to control gnat fungi in plant beds or pots.
Bits can be sprinkled on the surface of the soil or mixed with compost soil prior to planting to kill gnat larvae with the same safety and specific control offered for mosquito larvae.
A week after application either supplement with Mosquito Dunks®, for long term control or continue to add Bits™ on a bi-weekly basis.
BTI is not toxic to people, does not pose a risk to humans, and is approved for pest control in organic farming operations.
